Vicki emphasized the value of networking and gave us ten points to follow to help lock in our understanding.
1. You need to network all the time - make it a priority.
2. Honor the networking code.

b. Interact/exchange information
c. Ask permission to share
d. Let the person who gave you the lead know the outcome.
3. Treat it like a game
4. Keep track of contacts and commitments.
5. Don't wait to network until you need to.
6. Realize you have something to offer
7. Look for opportunities others might miss
8. Ask permission to use "your" name.
9. Never underestimate the power of a written note.
10. You're never too old or successful to network.
